Educational Technology Leadership Team

​The Educational Technology Leadership Team consists of local technology leaders appointed by their respective districts. The group meets four times per school year. Meetings promote networking and learning opportunities around educational technology as well as provide information about resources and current research in the field.

 Digital Learning Group in mi PLACE

The Educational Technology Leadership Team uses the Digital Learning group in mi PLACE as a public place to learn and share together about the effective use of technology in teaching and learning. If you are a professional educator, actively and directly engaged in K-12 education, you are invited to join this group!

Logging in on mi PLACE requires a Google account (school-based or personal).

  1. Before going to mi PLACE, use your browser to log in to your school (or personal) Google account. This is the Google account you’ll use in the mi PLACE community.

  2. Go to, click on the red Google button and use your school email address and network password (or personal Gmail address and password) to log in.

  3. Give mi PLACE permission to use your Google username for mi PLACE.

  4. Complete the profile screen - including your city, district/school, role, and picture.

Once you are logged into mi PLACE, click on the Collaboratorium tab to find and join the Digital Learning group.

  1. Click “Search for Groups.”

  2. In the Group Name search field type in “Digital Learning.”

  3. When the search results appear, click on the group name to join.

  4. You will now be a member of the group!

  5. Check out our resources and discussions. If you have a topic or a question you’d like to pursue, please start a discussion.

When you return to mi PLACE in the future, the Digital Learning group will show up on both the “Collaboratorium” page and the “My Learning” page once you have logged in.
