Field Services

Districts utilizing this service realize increases in operational efficiencies and customer satisfaction while directing savings back to the classroom. Under this umbrella, Oakland Schools provides the following services to the district:

  • Administrative leader: District IT leader, onsite staff management, strategic planning, contract management, vendor management
  • Service Desk: Live support and 24x7 emergency access
  • Technology Integration: Desktop support, training, mobile device management, and presentation equipment
  • Network Operations: Server, network & infrastructure administration; filtering, security, firewall & patch management
  • Student Services: Support of regionally supported Student Information System
  • Business Services: Support for regionally supported Human Resources and Finance Payroll system
  • General Application: Support for facilities-based systems, video surveillance, access control, and HVAC systems
