Business Application Systems

MiPEER Sungard Business Plus Finance and HRM system

Oakland Schools and participating consortium districts provide a framework for the operation, maintenance and utilization and/or licensing, administration and support of the Sungard Business Plus Finance and HR/Payroll software system. 

Phase I districts include: Avondale Schools, Bloomfield Hills Schools, Lake Orion Community Schools, Novi Community School District, Rochester Community Schools and Royal Oak Schools.

All six districts went live with Finance July 1, 2015.  All six districts will be live with HR/Payroll this Fall/Winter. 

Phase II districts include:  Brandon School District, Clarenceville School District, Clawson Public Schools, Lamphere Public Schools, Madison District Public Schools, West Bloomfield School District, Huron Valley Schools and Walled Lake Consolidated Schools. 

All six districts plan to be live with Finance July 1, 2016  and HR/Payroll Fall/Winter 2016. 

  • Finance including general ledger, revenue management, accounts Payable and budgeting
  • Human Resources/Payroll including recruitment, personnel, professional development and payroll
  • Michigan State reporting
  • CDD reporting

 

CGI Advantage Financial and HRM system

Oakland Schools hosts the CGI Advantage Financial and HRM system for a limited number of districts.  Advantage Financial/HRM is a web-based application supporting Finance, HR, Payroll and Procurement customized specifically for Michigan educational entities in order to meet state and federal mandates.  This application is housed at Oakland Schools and delivered over the ONE network.

  • InfoAdvantage – managerial level reporting system.
  • Finance including but not limited to: budgeting, general ledger, revenue, Federal Aid management
  • Performance Budgeting including amendment budget processing and budget development processing
  • Purchasing including purchase order management service, online bidding, inventory management, point of sale, and cooperative bid
  • Payroll/Human Resources including but not limited to: employee records management, employee self service, payroll processing, attendance, deduction and fringe, benefit processing, and reporting
  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Michigan State reporting
