The Oakland Schools Special Education Fiscal Services team supports districts in the process of obtaining federal, state and
county generated dollars that are designated for the provision of special
education services and programs within Oakland County.
Some of the many services provided to the districts
of the county include the calculation and distribution of tuition payments for
students in center classroom placements; projections for Public Act (PA)-18 distributions;
assistance in development and reporting of federal IDEA grants on MEGS Plus;
guidance in completion of the Michigan SE-4096 Special Education Actual Cost reports
and technical assistance with related financial issues.
